Hey Ya'll

I got to go ride a snow bike yesterday and it was

a blast!

It was way more fun than I expected.  I rode a

2moto on a 525 KTM, we rode up some pretty

good hills and down really steep stuff in

deep powder.  So, now I want one!

Also I got to watch Scott Walenburg's band

at a place called Terrapin Station.  Scott

is the publisher of Racer X and there are

usually some dirt bike guys in the crowd.

I met a couple of new friends and they offered to

let me ride their bikes at the upcoming Vintage

Inter Am race coming up at the end of March in

Boise.  Yes, they had been drinking and they

had never heard of me or my reputation for

destroying bikes....  So we won't be friends

very long, but I should have a good story to tell!

Scott's band ROCKS, it was great, I don't get

much music here in SE Idaho, unless I want to

hop on a beet truck and go see the Chior.

And I mean BEET, not BEAT, BEAT would

be good, but we have trucks loaded with sugar

beets running the highways now and the Chior

I speak of is in Salt Lake.  So Scotts

band ROCKS!!!  Alman Brothers, Grateful

Dead, Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn plus

dirt bike guys full of beer, what a good time!

Now back in New Hampshire, Clipper boarded a

train with his girl named Jo...???? and went

to down town New York City.  Here they got

their room at the Penn Hotel, which I'll

bet was pretty swank.  Then Monday night, they

 met up with friend of the magazine,

Brad Tegarten from MPC KTM in Roseville CA

and they all went to the Steve Winwood Eric

Clapton concert at Madison Square Gardens.

Doesn't that sound cool?  I'm trying to be

happy for him, but ship, it ain't easy!

I'll bet it was a good show and a good time.
