Suzuki’s Charlie Mullins pulled off a win in the Georgia clay yesterday. Mullins, who was just four seconds behind after the third lap, would take the lead from KTM’s Nate Kanney on the fourth lap and never look back. Nate kept the pressure on but was never able to retake the lead and had fallen to a scant sixteen seconds behind Mullins at the checkered. David Knight took third. He got a bad start and finished the first lap in fourth place, one spot behind enduro ace Russell Bobbitt, who would eventually run into trouble and not finish the race. Knight pushed hard, but relented that even with a good start he would not have been able to run with the lead pair. Fourth, fifth and sixth went to Suzuki teammates Paul Whibley, Jimmy Jarrett and Josh Strang. The Suzuki bosses must be smiling having four of their riders in the top six places at the end of the day.

In Psycho Monkeys defense he has a funny name, even if it is Monday.
