The Indiana State Fair Grounds is proud to announce
the return of A.M.A. Flat Track Racing to the Historic Indy Mile on Saturday Sept. 13th.
In 1999, one of the Oldest and Proudest proving grounds in motorcycle racing was taken off the circuit. The Indy Mile was anticipated by fans yearly for the exciting foot dragging, handle bar to handle bar non-stop action.
At speeds reaching over 100mph,riders slip streamed the straights before tossing their roaring machines sideways into the long turns of the Indy Mile that could get the bravest of daredevils adrenaline pumping.
Legends such as Chris Carr, Scott Parker, Ricky Grahm, Jay Springsteen and Bubba Shobert have put their names in the winners circle here.
The return of this event is being sponsored by Lucas Oil in conjunction with the Inaugraural
Red Bull GP Race at the Famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The Red Bull Gp Race will be held from Sept. 12th thru the14th.
There is also to be a T.N.T. Freestyle MotoCross Race held at 62nd Street between Guilford and College Avenues in a historic part of Indianapolis called BroadRipple.
So if you are looking for a adrenaline filled weekend we hope to see you at Indy.

The Freestyle is about a seven minute walk from my house which is cool. The Mile is about 3 miles from my house and the GP is about 20 minutes. My carbon footprint will be small this weekend.

Fun Fact #008:
If the action is that close to your house - the party is also at your house. Expect overnight guests.
